How should I respond in an interview if I’m asked something that would violate the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission (EEOC)?

Question: How should I respond in an interview if I'm asked something that would violate the EEOC?
Response: I think the question you should ask yourself, is do you want to work for an employer that does violate the EEOC. That should be a red flag. If you are being interviewed in-person and a question is posed to you that you feel is in violation of the EEOC, you should respond that you are not comfortable answering the question. If the interviewer presses the question, then you need to stop and determine whether or not you want to work for that organization. You should also make sure that this particular issue is a clear violation.
